it's always late at night when your mind starts whirring and moving as if the whole day its been inactive and all the ideas and motivation comes out. insomnia how i welcome you when i decide to be productive. it's 1.20 am and for the past hour and a half i've been applying for part time jobs online at every place possible, organising photos to submit to a General Pants Co. competition and practising my (admittedly terrible) drawing skills but hey, practise practise practise practise as they say! i've been working 3 jobs these past 2 weeks including a retail sales assistant job, being a cook for a cafe and helping out a wedding photographer and i'm starting to feel the strain but even though i've worked my derriere off this past week and had barely any sleep, i feel so alive. i feel like my life is really beginning and I'm starting to break into some part of the world that I've yearned for since i began dreaming for bigger things and i want to remember this night as i applied to every place I could and studied other photographers and how they broke into the industry because i know in a few years or maybe even less, i'll be somewhere. i'll be making a name for myself and to anyone who reads this, thank you for taking the time out to see how i'll be growing because this journey is the biggest and greatest roller-coaster i'm strapping myself into and i hope you'll stay for the ride!
PS: as you can tell, i'm an avid lover for metaphors.

leanne: sun sun sun, won't you shine on me me me
Model: Leanne
This has been an adventure in the making! We planned to meet up and take photos WEEKS ago and finally we got to do it although it wasn't without drama with the forecast being heavy rains. However, that didn't stop us from taking photos in the rain with our trusty black umbrella and walking around in the rain to Hyde Park, Darling Harbour and back to George St to eat some really nice Japanese food. We also stopped by Paddy's so Leanne could pick up some stuff and had a great time walking around in some shade. Here are some of the photos in which you can kinda see the crazy weather because we also ended up finding some sunshine :)
